How Lapdog works
Seven steps from an empty page to live race results.
- 1
Add an event
Pick the sport, name it, set a date. That's your race.
- 2
Add collaborators (or fly solo, big guy!)
Invite people to view, edit, or admin alongside you, or just run the whole thing yourself.
- 3
Get a roster
Build a sign-up form right in Lapdog, or import from BikeReg, a CSV, Excel, or Google Sheets. Entries land on your roster automatically.
- 4
Sort your roster into waves (optional)
Combine small categories that start together into one wave, or split a big category into several. Skip it if your categories start as-is.
- 5
Give riders bibs/numbers (optional)
Auto-number by category or wave, with one number per rider even if they entered twice.
- 6
Create heats
Set up timing sessions to send your waves off in a sane order and keep the timing manageable. Mass start, or a true time trial with interval or tap-to-start.
- 7
Start your heats and tap them in
Tap each rider as they cross the line. Splits, totals, and live standings update instantly, and share the public results link with everyone.
